Abstract

Luxury tourism has long been associated with high-resource consumption, with extravagant experiences often coming at the cost of environmental degradation. However, the concept of sustainable luxury tourism has emerged as a responsible and attractive alternative for the discerning traveler. This paper explores the strategies implemented by luxury resorts and travel agencies to minimize their environmental footprint while maintaining the exclusivity and opulence expected in luxury tourism. Through case studies from eco-friendly luxury resorts, the research highlights how sustainability can be integrated into luxury travel experiences without compromising the core values of exclusivity, comfort, and service.
